The woods is full of 18th Century camps and enthusiastic re-enactors in beautiful Wildcat Valley of Western Howard County every third weekend of September.

Visit the different camps, British & French Military, Eastern Woodland Native Indian Village, Voyageur, French Milice, Scout & Demonstrator Camps. A perfect setting to learn about the French & Indian War and also local history of Howard County and the city of firsts, Kokomo, IN., which is part of the Wabash Valley area.

Hear Chief Koh-Koh-Mah speak of the battles his ancestors fought. Meet David Foster the founder of the first trading post in Howard County. Hear for yourself how Kokomo got its name.

The Howard County Historical Society is proud to support this celebration of our heritage. Come join us at our camp for candle dipping and corn on the cob.
