A Holiday Evening at Seiberling Mansion12/07/2018
The Victorian elegance of the Seiberling Mansion is a perfect setting for a stunning collection of holiday trees, wreaths and garlands, and more. Thanks to a group of community-minded sponsors, the Howard County Historical Society has added evening hours to the mansion’s holiday schedule for five special days in November and December.
Community First Bank of Indiana will host the “Seiberling Snowman Spectacular” on Friday, December 7th - and has made it possible for visitors to tour the mansion for free from 4:00-8:00pm that day. Inside the Seiberling, you’ll enjoy a holiday vision of beauty with dozens of trees and snowmen throughout the twenty rooms on all three floors. Vote for your favorite room and help pick the People’s Choice. Kids can participate in a count-the-snowmen contest, with a prize package for one who comes closest to the actual number.
The evening hours are in addition to the regular hours of 1:00-4:00pm Tuesday-Saturday. The mansion is located in the 1200 block of West Sycamore Street in Kokomo. Parking lots are accessible via Walnut Street. Information is available at 765.452.4314.
