CEO Night at the Seiberling

12/06/2018

Howard County residents and visitors to Kokomo can enjoy a spectacular display of more and merrier Christmas trees, holiday lights and other decorations during “CEO Night at the Seiberling”. Visitors will be admitted free of charge from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Seiberling Mansion, 1200 West Sycamore St. in Kokomo. The free admission evening will put a spotlight on CEO, Kokomo’s entrepreneurial education program for high school students, and is made possible by a grant from Duke Energy.

This year’s theme, “A Seiberling Snowman Spectacular,” will emphasize a wide variety of Christmas tree decorations and other holiday adornments throughout the mansion’s more than 20 rooms.
“This is one way we can express our appreciation to the community and support the CEO program at the same time,” said Kevin Johnston, Duke Energy Indiana community relations manager. “The Seiberling Mansion puts on a delightful Christmas display that people of all ages can enjoy.”

“We’re grateful for the generosity of Duke Energy to make this opportunity available to the CEO students and their sponsors and leaders – and all Kokomo-area residents,” said Dave Broman, executive director of the historical society. “This is a great opportunity to learn about the important role the Seiberling family played in Indiana history, as well as to get in the holiday spirit.”

Adding to the holiday atmosphere, the IUK Flute Choir will provide music in the mansion from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and the Vivace Flute Trio will perform beginning at 6:30 p.m.
