The Ripper Returns!

The Ripper Returns!

10/14/2020

Combining history and macabre fantasy in the landmark setting of the Seiberling Mansion, just in time for Halloween!
The Howard County Historical Society presents the 2020 edition of our murder mystery tour on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24. Eight 45 minute tours will be offered each night. Guests will begin at the Elliott House, where our fortune teller and friends are waiting to entertain and serve refreshments while your group gathers. At the appropriate hour, Mansion hosts will greet each group and transport them back in time as they walk from the Elliott House to the Seiberling Mansion. There, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and Sherlock Holmes take over as guides across the mansion grounds as you track Jack the Ripper. Explore the workings of the criminal mind through conversations with visiting Victorian Gothic authors and their haunting creations. Will the clues lead you and Holmes to the Ripper? Will you be in time to save his next victim?
*Important* Plan to arrive early for this outdoor event to enjoy it in full. Protective facial masks required and social distancing practices observed. Tour groups will gather at the neighboring Elliott House prior to their tour time to enjoy our fortune teller and pre-show refreshments. Tours depart at designated ticket time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to join their departed tour group. If space is available, late arrivals may opt to join another tour time, but no refunds are given for missed tour departures. Inclement weather date: Friday, October 30. Tour requires physical ability to traverse the lawn of the museum campus. Parental guidance is advised due to mature nature of show content. *Thank you!*
