Plan Your Visit

... a few things to know ahead of time: parking is free and the parking lot entrance is at the rear of the museum on West Walnut Street. The public entrance is at the front but there is a lift and a rear entrance for those needing assistance. There is no interior elevator to the second or third floors. Visitors are free to enjoy the museum and mansion at their own pace. Guided tours are available, led by a museum docent, and advance notice is requested for larger groups. The Seiberling Mansion/Howard County Historical Museum is located just West of downtown Kokomo in the heart of the Old Silk Stocking neighborhood.

From US 31: Turn West on Sycamore Street and drive through historic downtown Kokomo. Cross Washington Street and continue West to the 1200 block of Sycamore Street. Pass the mansion and turn right at the next intersection which is Phillips Street. Turn right again on Walnut Street. Free parking is available behind the mansion.
